Renesas Usb 3.0 Driver Windows 7

This is an old thread, but in case anyone is interested, I've been searching for AKE BC628 USB 3.0 34mm Card Driver for Win 7 x64 and once I got through a few chipset suggestions, I ended finding the ASM1042 chipset drivers and luckily they worked. Link below in case anyone wants to give em a go.

i have been searching drivers for my AKE ExpressCard 54mm to USB 3.0 SuperS , this expresscard i have brought throug ebay - seller -i2cworld_inc3 in jan 2012, the drivers cd which i have got with device was empty , and seller on request provided the driver download links which were not working with this device,, but today i have successfully installed the drivers provided from www.station-drivers.com and the device is working fine now , after a long time the device begin to work ..........

for me the driver Asmedia ASM1041/ASM1042 USB3 Controller Drivers Version 1.14.8.0 at -drivers.com/page/asmedia.htm has worked fine

I know this is an old thread but as it still comes up as the first link when searching for "AKE USB 3.0 expresscard drivers" I thought I would still post this here. I have just bought one of these, it is a 3 port USB 3.0 expresscard. I already had Renesas drivers installed from a previous 2 port express card but the new AKE one would not work. When reading through this thread I tried NEC drivers as well to no avail.

Personal Statement: (dated 09/25/2022)The start posts of this thread has been written and formatted by me, but I am not responsable for its currently bad appearance and readability. Due to incompatibilities of the Forum Software the formatting and some parts of the text have gone lost during the Forum move.Since I am neither able nor willing to repair this issue, I have stopped the support of this thread. We need someone else who starts a new thread and supports it.Thanks in advance!Dieter (alias Fernando)Preliminary notes:Although the Windows Operating Systems from Win8 up natively do support many USB 3.0 Controllers by using a generic Microsoft USB 3.0 driver, it is often better to install the specific USB 3.0 drivers, which have been developed, optimized and released by the manufacturer of the related USB 3.0 Controller.Unfortunately some manufacturers of USB 3.0 Controllers offer just a compressed Drivers & Software Set, but not the "naked" drivers, which can be integrated into an OS image or manually installed from within the Device Manager. To make it easier for you to find the latest USB 3.0 drivers in an already extracted format, I have started this thread, where you can find direct download links to the latest available drivers for the most popular and still produced USB 3.0 Controllers.Additionally I am offering here some USB 3.0 drivers, which have been modified by me to make them usable with USB Controllers and Operating Systems, which are not supported by the original drivers.Tips for the manual installation of USB 3.0/3.1 drivers:

Notes: These 32/64bit ASMedia USB 3.0 drivers are dated 01/27/2015, WHQL certified and only usable with Win7. Only Intel 8-9 Series Chipset Systems with an Intel USB 3.0 Controller DEV_8C31, DEV_8CB1, DEV_8D31, DEV_9C31, DEV_9CB1 or DEV_0F35 and their related USB Hub Devices are natively supported.

Hi Fernando,On my P87Z77-V Deluxe , W7 x64,I have updated ASMEDIA USB 3.0 driver from V 1.16.23.0 to V 1.16.24.0. No problem. It works fine.I have tried to update INTEL USB 3.0 Controller V 1.0.10.255 to your modded driver CONTROLLER V 3.0.4.65. Windows 7 detects that driver is not numerical signed (not WHQL) and ask in a red warning message if i want to force or not.Do i have to force ? Is it correct ?

Fernando,Yes, i had read the Notes and used the "have disk" option. I was only surprised by the red warning menu provided by Windows. So, i have successfully updated Intel Controller driver and Intel Hub concentrator driver. All is working well. Here are bench results of two USB 3.0 SANDISK Extreme 64GB keys connected respectively on an INTEL port and on an ASMEDIA port. Thanks for this very helpful USB 3.0 part on your forum.

Thanks for the info and the link.I will add these Etron USB 3.0 drivers to the start post of this thread, although I am pretty sure, that we will never see newer USB 3.0 drivers from this Company (the latest ones are dated 10/29/2013). AFAIK they stopped the production of USB 3.0 Host Controllers already in 2013.

The answer has already been given by Hakuryuu. I totally agree with him/her. By the way: Your linked USB 3.0 drivers, which were designed by Intel for their 7-Series Chipsets, are dated 09/17/2013, that means, that they are very old.

Hi Fernando,Installed (have disk method) controller driver then hub driver V 4.0.0.18 x64 on my PC ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe W7 SP1 x64.Here below are the bench results.Working OK for me.Many thanks.

Encounter the USB 3.0 driver related issues on your Windows 7 PC, such as USB 3.0 not working, USB 3.0 crashes, or USB device not recognized? You could download the USB 3.0 driver for Windows 7 (64 bit or 32 bit) to solve them. Here are top 2 ways to do it.

I had the Server running Server 2008 R2 (X64) at first and tried the default Dell USB 3.0 driver, and the latest drivers from Renesas. When the server is running, all is well and USB is super fast! No complaints. But when the server isnt in use for an hour it goes to sleep, and i wake it up via a WOL.exe when i start my PC or MediaCenter. And in 75% of the time, USB 3.0 is dead/gone/missing. Yellow mark in the hardware saying: renesas usb 3.0 eXtensible host controller This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)A simple reboot and USB 3.0 is back. But its not normal to reboot direct after i woke my server up. Thats not the purpose of letting it go to sleep.

Then came the Windows Server 2012 Beta (x64). Like WIndows 8 it has USB 3.0 drivers native, so i gave it a trie. And YES, with exact the same settings as on 2008 R2 (x64) i never had any problems! Going to sleep, waking up, and NEVER EVER any problems with USB 3.0. So exactly the same hardware and the same power settings!

I was so enthousiast that when the Release Candidate came of Windows Server 2012 (x64) I put that one. Still exact the same hardware and power settings, the USB 3.0 problem is back ! Almosdt 75% of the time my USB 3.0 is gone/dead after a wake up and i need to reboot to get it back. And again Yellow mark in the hardware saying: renesas usb 3.0 eXtensible host controller This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
